Research Interest

Dr Zhong's research interests include the design and synthesis of novel fluorescent nanomaterials, especially fluorescent silicon-based nanomaterials (silicon nanoparticles, silicon nanowires, silicon nanorod, etc.), and their utilization for biological applications, as well as self-assembly of soft materials and surface science. She has authored over 35 peer-reviewed papers with an impact factor (IF) larger than 3.0, 8 of which were published in the top chemistry journals J. Am. Chem. Soc., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed. The number of citation is more than 1800, the H-Index is up to 24.
