K M Mohibul Kabir

Research Associate

Dr Mohibul Kabir is an ARC DECRA Fellow at UNSW's School of Chemistry. His current research is focused towards the development of a develop a high-performance, cost-effective, palm-portable differential ion mobility spectrometer for universal chemical analysis that operates at atmospheric pressure and consumes minimal power.. Dr Kabir has expertise in highly interdisciplinary research fields of microelectronics, microfabrication, radio frequency engineering and materials chemistry. He was awarded RMIT University’s Vice Chancellor's Award for Research Excellence HDR in 2016 as a recognition of “achieving the highest levels of excellence in research during the completion of his PhD degree” in the field of microsensors development for toxic chemical detection.
