Controlling the shape of polymer nanoparticles to improve targetting of cancer cells

Posted 2 November 2017

The research groups of Professor Pall Thordarson and Scientia Professor Martina Stenzel have teamed up to develop a way to create smart, self-assembling polymer nanoparticles – that are better than spherical nanoparticles at getting into tumour cells – to deliver anti-cancer drugs.

This research was published on 1 November, 2017 in Nature Communications.
